Wow! What an incredible way to celebrate our 50th birthday! A trip we will not soon forget!
Having sailed the BVIs in 2020, when we decided to go again to celebrate our birthdays.
When we decided to return to the BVIs for our birthday celebration, we had high expectations as our first trip in 2020 was wonderful! Those expectations were instantly exceeded the minute we stepped aboard Allure and met our crew, Rich and Lisa.
Allure is a beautiful catamaran! A new boat that was clean and modern. Perfect size for 6 guests plus 2 crew. The common spaces were comfortable, spacious and welcoming. The cabins were also spacious, and beds were very comfortable. Plenty of room for personal items and privacy! Exceptional amenities on the boat of Wifi, paddleboarding, snorkeling, AC, sunning on deck, and enjoying the sail. Allure was a dream!
Our crew, Rich and Lisa, are clearly the best in the business! Rich, an extremely skilled and knowledgeable captain, knows the BVIs and the boat, like the back of his hand. He knew when and where to take us for the best sailing, beaches and sunsets. We loved sailing and always felt safe. Really loved seeing dolphins swim and race with the boat as we sailed. Rich was also the chef with many years of experience. His food was exceptional and delicious! Full meals for breakfast, lunch, "snack" (ie happy hour), dinner and dessert! Every meal different. He accommodated our every need and request! We always felt full and satisfied! Amazing!
Lisa was the most perfect first mate and provided exceptional customer service! She made us feel at home from the very first day on Allure! She made sure that we had the best day, every day. She was attentive to our every need, making sure that we were happy and satisfied every minute! She kept our rooms tidy and clean, made us some delicious cocktails, helped with our snorkel gear and paddle boards, hung up our wet clothes and towels to dry, advised us on activities and made reservations on some of the islands, escorted us on a few sites on the islands, transported us in the dinghy to the islands, took group pictures for us....the list goes on and on. To say we were pampered and spoiled is an understatement! We decided to designate one of our days on the boat to be our "birthday" day... we woke up to decorations on the boat, special drinks and dinner and ended the day with sparklers on a birthday cake!!! They provided such personalized care and service to each one of us! They made us feel very special! Truly wonderful people!
Both Rich and Lisa enhanced our experience on Allure and made our celebration trip simply amazing and one that we will never forget!

We had an amazing time. Seriously the best cooking I have ever had. Before this trip I would not have said I was a bona fide ocean explorer, but Charlie's snorkeling passion was infectious, and now I would call myself a snorkeling super fan. You guys are the best! Your work ethic and desire to make everything perfect is incredible. Every meal was incredible-delicious, beautiful, filling, awesome! The running joke is that we were never hungry on this trip. We probably ate less this week than we normally do and that was because every meal was perfect. You were also patient, flexible, and understanding with us.

You are the man! You taught us more about boats, sailing, snorkeling, diving, and reef/sea creatures than we could ever learn in a lifetime. We also asked more questions than we could in a lifetime and you answered every one. I'm still not sure when you were bullshitting us... so I'm going to go with the fact that you just know way to much. thank you for putting up with our shenanigans.

Thanks for an unforgettable week. The entire experience was incredible and you all went above and beyond. Still can’t believe you made Thanksgiving Dinner on a boat. The Baths, snorkeling off Cooper Island, and e-foiling were particular favorites. If you ever decide to quit the boat life, a cookbook and cocktail book would be bestsellers. We will have a standing reservation at the restaurant. The Allure certainly lived up to its billing and is without a doubt the best looking boat in every bay we visited.
Hopefully we will be on the boat again, but if you’re ever in Connecticut, give us a call!
New Years 2024/25
Our week spent on ALLURE with Cammi and Charlie was an absolute Dream. From the pre-arrival planning and coordination to the detailed and enthusiastic care while aboard, we were made to feel welcome and comfortable and were no doubt spoiled for he duration.
ALLURE is a beautiful sailing catamaran, with ample space and well appointed. Cammi and Charlie are an absolute pleasure to spend time with. Knowledgeable, curious, adventurous and fun, we enjoyed fabulous meals created by Cammi, and as a dive master, Charlie lead multiple dives throughout the week.
We were in safe and highly capable hands and would sail again on ALLURE and with Cammi and Charlie in a heart beat!
