What an incredible week and amazing time you shared with us! You shared your love for sailing, the ocean, the food, the BVI's with our family and we couldn't be more grateful. We are so sad to be leaving you both, but are so thankful for the incredible memories you helped us create. We loved, drunked, ate, spilled ice, swam, chased barracudas and snorkeled to our hearts delight. You made us feel like family, and spoiled us rotten. Your hospitality is unmatched and we can't imagine another sailing trip without you. Thank you for your patience and sailing lessons. The living was amazing, the cocktails were tasty and we are going to dream about the food and sunsets forever. You are welcome in Illinois any time, come to the lake! We hope to see you soon!

Thanks again for another wonderful week. We always look forward to coming "home" to the virgin islands. Before we even leave the boat, we are already looking forward to our next trip. But, the place would not be as magical without the people. You both make every trip so special. You are what makes time spent here so enjoyable. Thank you for taking such good care of us. Christmas 2025 BVI Charter
This three generation family week on Liquid Zen was a peak life trip, and most of the credit goes to Max and John. Tru hospitality and caretaking is a skill that can only partially be taught. The kindness, enthusiasm and genuine joy that Max and John take in their work is a rare thing and guaranteed trip success. Whatever we needed, they were thrilled to provide. John's cooking never missed. We never saw Max idle for a millisecond. The warmth shown our children warmed our hearts, from teaching them to steer and snorkel. At least we taught John one thing- to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. We will always remember this week and be grateful for John and Max. Huzzah!

Thank you Liquid Zen, Max, and John for a magical Christmas week for this 3 gen family trip. Max was a brilliant captain- not only making thoughtful decisions based on the weather and mood of the boat-but also in providing experiences both old and new. Watching "The Grinch" on a projector from the boat on Christmas Eve (as we have for decades in our family) or getting us to go snorkeling when some of us (ME) were uncertain - all of it made for a truly special week. But it wouldn't have been MAGICAL without John's cooking. I could go on forever here but will spare you. It's not just that John is a talented chef, he is equally gifted in his attention to the guests, culminating in a final dessert inspired buy their snack habits- a PB&J souffle.

Thsi was a magical trip and Max and John were instrumental in making it that way. I was a little nervous about my older self getting around, but they made me feel capable and safe-especially getting on and off the tender. Snorkeling was a highlight for me. Max and John are easy and fun to be around and very capable. Max is knowledgable and constantly moving around to take care of everything, the boat, the guests, planning fun things, getting out the water toys at every step. John takes care of the boat too and most importantly the food, it was all delicious. But for me, I loved sharing stories with them about my life. It was great getting to know both of you, and your life choices. I am envious and approve of you taking this time of your life for adventure. Needless to say I am so grateful for this special gift of time with my family.

Max and John made this trip absolutely "wicked." Out of all of our family trips this one is now ranked #1. I loved getting to wake up everyday in a new island. I also loved trying new delicious foods! Everything I tasted was 10/10. i can't wait to do this trip again... and of course with Max and John! Best trip ever!!

What an amazing trip , waking up everyday to a perfect cup of coffee followed by an amazing breakfast! Max, thank you for picking the perfect spot everyday. John the food was absolutely perfect, breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the best snacks as well. Not to mention a great dessert platter on NewYear's Eve late night. Can't wait to cruise again with y'all!

What a week! You both exceeded our expectations! We cam to make memories and ended up with a trip of a lifetime. Max, you navigated a perfect itinerary, hitting all the spots, both quiet and upbeat. John, every meal blew us away. You surprised us with new spice, tastes, and deliciousness!
Although it was only a week it felt like we were with y'all alot longer. Thank you for introducing us to the beauty , flavor and culture of the islands. You made us feel like we were home in he BVI.
