We just finished a catamaran sailing trip with Ocean Sailing House around Vis, Hvar and other bays and islands withing the vicinity. It was absolutely excellent.

About the experience:

The Catamaran was modern, comfortable, and spotless. All amenities catered for.

But Josip as our skipper made it unforgettable. He’s clearly got years of experience handling ocean sailing. Good confidence made us all feel comfortable and at ease.
Safety brief was thorough. At times he let us take the wheel and taught us some sailing basics. He knew every quiet bay around Vis , Hvar etc - we skipped the tourist crowds and swam in quiet bays.

Josip arranged private restaurants for us in secluded spots that you’d never find on your own. Fresh catch, local wine, zero tourists. He adjusted the route perfectly when the wind picked up.

If you book with Ocean Sailing House, request Josip. He’s not just a skipper, he’s a local guide who actually loves showing people the real Dalmatia coast.

Ivan made this a fantastic trip for us. His impeccable professionalism and friendly personality made him the highlight and the trip was flawless. I have written a separate email to Adriana describing how much we valued him as captain.

Vacation was excellent. Josip and Ivana made the trip extra special. They had great recommendations, adjusted schedule to accommodate crowds, etc.
